Whatever Happened to Kioken Design?: A while back we posted a question: whatever happened to Kioken Design? Kioken was an A-list Web design firm before the bubble burst, and the subject of much press at that time. Then they suddenly vanished.
This morning, Joshua Davis posted a comment to that thread. He was an employee of the company, and he reveals the truth about what happened to Kioken Design:

now the UK site is down two, the domain is parked.
IMHO their salary was way overrated, they were just at the right place at the right time, and most important of all, they knew the right persons.
