Hackers cut off SCO Web site

“SCO’s Web site was largely out of commission until Monday morning, a representative of the Lindon, Utah-based Unix and Linux seller said Monday. Performance measurement statistics from Netcraft indicated that the site had been down since Friday night.”

I wondered how long it would take for someone to do this. It begs the question, what if it gets worse and transcends the virtual realm? What if someone is waiting outside Darl McBride’s house one morning? Is there someone pissed off and unstable enough to do something like this? How deep does the animosity run?
