Nintendo profit jumps fivefold: The Wii pwns all.

Surging sales of Nintendo’s Wii and DS video games lifted the company’s quarterly profit fivefold, prompting the Japanese game maker to raise its annual earnings forecast 40%.

In the meantime, Sony is cutting prices on PS3s and Microsoft has set aside $1 billion to cover extra repairs to the Xbox360. Nice.
