IE7 to Use Firefox RSS Icon

Icons: It’s still orange: IE7 is going to use the Firefox icon for RSS. This may seem like a small thing, but was when the last time Microsoft (and the IE group in particular) ever said, “Hey, there’s a good standard already out there. Let’s embrace it.” I’m frankly amazed they’re doing that for RSS itself.

We all agreed that it’s in the user’s best interest to have one common icon to represent RSS and RSS-related features in a browser. And the winner is… [ graphic above] I’m excited to announce that we’re adopting the icon used in Firefox.

They've always say and done that. You're forgetting the "extend" part of the equation.
