Frigits: I’m a big fan of refrigerators, being as that’s where all the food is. But here’s another reason to like them.
I found Frigits in a little gift shop, and played non-stop for 15 minutes until my wife walked by and I suddenly pretended to be interested in a wind chime.
The picture at right should explain about all that needs to be explained — they’re like a big game of mousetrap you can design and mount to your fridge. There are even corner pieces so your little marble can round the corner and head down the side (to get lost forever, no doubt).
If not for a 15-month-old who likes to (1) eat everything, and (2) pull everything she can reach off the fridge, I’d have bought a bundle of these. It seems like a great way to spend an hour or two, and if you get hungry, you’re right there.
(I just found a page of videos, though they’re in the detestable Real format. You can submit your own. I would totally need a bigger fridge.)
Isabella Kennedy arrived at 7:03 p.m. Eight pounds, 12 oz. Mom and baby are fine. Now, for the important bit... I had trouble versioning this one. Was she Deane 2.0 or 5.0? She is my daughter — a direct descendent of 1.0 — hence a 2.0. However,…
Yes! And I have a birthday coming up.
At the manufacturer's site they also have a QuickTime video, although it's shot almost directly from above.
