Ask the Captain: If you’re an airplane junkie, then this column over at USAToday should be great fun. It’s a Q an A written by Meryl Getline (she wrote this book), an airline pilot. In it, she answers some fun questions about the ins and outs of flying a $100 million airplane:

• Can a plane’s cabin run out of air?
• Where do you keep the jet key?
• Why do planes have to dump fuel for emergency landings?
• How common are bird strikes?

Her answers are always fascinating and well-written. She has a personal blog as well: From the Cockpit.

And for the truly obsessed, Jeremy Zawodny pointed me to this site this morning: the Official Boeing 777-200LR Flight Test Journal. Great reading about something I would never expect a blog about.
