Google Maps, Now with 30% More Awesome

Google Maps has now added an option to display your map with sattelite data.

If you ever wondered what Gadgetopia World Headquarters looks like from space, now’s your chance. Of course, the defenses are masked from sattelites, and most of the facility is subterreanean, but you get the idea.

Apparently the guard dogs were sleeping when this picture was taken. The SAM batteries must have been down for maintenance (they run on Windows) as well, or else that satellite would have been gone, man.

I noticed too that the actual building is about 100 feet north of the pushpin. The pin is where the sign for the building is, out in front of the parking lot.
