Pacific Views: Comment Spammers: Somebody pointed this out in their blog regarding my post about the Texas Holdem guy.
I’ve found something that I think is an even greater insult to the blogger about these crappy spammers. I found a site using Google ads with a post complaining about one of the worst spammers. Today the Google ads are providing ad content that refer to the spammer’s product based on the post content.
Sure enough, that post has all sorts of ads for Texas Holdem poker. Nice.

Yeah, I'm pissed. Really pissed. When does comment spam become a DDOS attack? There's a fine line, and some a**hole crossed it this morning. I knew there was a problem when I sat down to eat my cereal and read the news this morning and the Windows XP…
So does this one...
But the great thing about this is that it creates a convenient place for 'ad bombing': http://www.davidgalbraith.org/archives/000694.html#000694 I.e. every time you see ads for texas holdem on adsense, click a few times and they will be charged by Google for the hassle they have caused. If enough people did this, they wouldn't be able to advertise on Google.
