The Arizona Republic has a story about a high school physics class that modified a Chevy pickup to not only run on hydrogen, but also to produce its own hydrogen, requiring only sunlight and water. While it’s mainly a rough test mule, and can produce enough fuel on its own in a day to travel only a few miles, it proves that the concept is workable. Cheap, clean transportation without the need for messing with OPEC.
