SEO Challenge - nigritude ultramarine: A search engine optimization site is running a contest to see who can get the number one position on Google in 30 days.

The SEO Challenge will have you vying for the number one ranking on a specific search term. The term, currently with no Google results, will be announced May 7th, the day the competition commences.

The term is “nigritude ultramarine” and here’s the Google search for it. Winners get an iPod and a flat-panel monitor.

With any luck, the mere mention of the term in this post will cause me to win. (But you have to be a Search Guild member — too bad.)

I just checked, and I'm result number 160 or so. Anil Dash is number one, thanks to an orchestrated Google bombing.
