In the mail today was a letter from an insurance company for our commercial building. It was an addition to the policy that stated:
Electronic Data Coverage is provided for the cost of replacing or restoring electronic data with has been destroyed or corrupted by a covered cause of loss….The Electronic Data Coverage is subject to an aggregate limit of $2,500 per policy…[This] revised policy makes it explicit that a computer virus is a covered caise of loss in many circumstances.
