VNC2SWF

Vnc2swf: Now here’s one for the cool ideas bin:

Recently Macromedia Flash(TM) is becoming a kind of de facto standard of animation distribution format. Vnc2swf is a recording tool for VNC, a protocol to manipulate remote window systems via network, developed by AT&T Laboratories Cambridge. It records VNC sessions and generates a Macromedia Flash movie file (SWF). It can be used as an X11 recorder or a Windows desktop recorder.

I haven’t tried it, but it sounds pretty cool.

It seems that vnc2swf doesn't work on Windows. I use the tool at unflash.com ($80?) to do flash demos on Windows. It's cheaper than most other similar tools, like RoboDemo, and fairly capable for my needs.

Boy, that "Windows" sounds expensive. ;-)

It works great from my linux free system :)

No need for me to buy a win system + a unflash (expensive) soft

Why to pay for unflash? Try CamStudio for Windows at http://sourceforge.net/projects/camstudio/.
