Amazon is selling the largest published book in the world. At a size of five by seven feet it weighs in at 133 pounds and costs $10,000. Ironically the book, Bhutan: A Visual Odyssey Across the Last Himalayan Kingdom, is nearly as large as the country it is about. You may have to wait a while to get it however, each copy is printed on demand and I doubt that it qualifies for Super Saver Shipping. On the plus side though, it counts as a charitable donation. If you don’t have $10K burning a hole in your wallet there’s a $100 version just for you.

This got me to thinking “what’s the most expensive item Amazon sells?” Surely this book had to be close. For the most part $10K is the high end of Amazon goods, but then I found this tacky piece of jewelry that can be yours for the low low price of $390,000. That’s right, nearly a half a million dollars. I make a lot of online purchases, but even if I had the spare change I’d have trouble clicking the ‘Buy Now’ button for this one.
