Is the RIAA Winning?

More households deleting music from hard drives: Sell all your stock in hard drive manufacturers, because if this keeps up, no one is going to need new ones.

“More than a million households deleted all the digital music files they had saved on their PCs in August — a sign that the record industry’s anti-piracy tactics are hitting home, said research company NPD Group on Wednesday.”

Interesting statistics in this article, but no word on how they were obtained. The way the RIAA is acting right now, I would tell Santa Claus that I deleted all my music just to stay off their list. (Not that I have any music on my hard drive)
