Speaking of vehicular insanity, my cube-mate was browsing through Barrett-Jackson’s listing of 888 drool-worthy machines, all going on the auction block this month. Barrett-Jackson is one of the nation’s biggest automotive auction houses, specializiing in collectible iron. I’m told their auction is a regular feature on SpeedTV. Piles of hi-res photos of the cars are available.
My favorite? Hard to pick, but the 1965 Shelby Cobra Roadster and the 1954 Oldsmobile F-88 Concept Car are right up there. Honorable mention goes to the 1955 Messerschmitt KR-200 2 Door Bubble Top. (ok, so I would’t be caught dead driving that one, but it sure is cute!)

.......What ever happened to the 65 Impala that was to be aunctioned from kcclassic auto.com. I never saw it on the show. It supposedly had a 409 in it.
