I need a website designed for a medical conference for a non profit association. Needs to have a certain degree of content management and a database for registration information.1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site).
Max bid, $100. One hundred dollars.

Most of the stuff on rent-a-coder is crap. If you do end up getting a decent job it usually doesnt' pay for all the time it took just to find it.
RentACoder.com is my choice. I can say this as one from RentACoder TopCoders. For today - I receive payment and thanks from buyer 160 times. Conclusion: If you are skilled and want to earn money using your brain - Rent A Coder - is right place.

Has RAC really protected you from a rogue buyer ? I had a rogue buyer, and they hung me out to dry.
Yes, RAC protect me. I can ask about arbitration (price $0). Arbitration is like a court trial. Result will be:
_Example1: The buyer alleges "we just cant get it to work for some odd reason, we pretty much tried everything". Both parties agreed to a 60% payment to the coder, and the 40% refund to the buyer.
_Example2: The buyer stopped responding to arbitration. Testing showed that 69% of the work was complete. The coder was paid that amount of the bid. The buyer's remaining funds were refunded.
You can get more examples via google.com I have been involved into arbitration 13 times.
RAC is great if you are following the rules if you don't follow them you can't be protected against rogue buyers
RentaCoder.com is a very good site. I'm a buyer. I've used both it and Scriptlance, and I find its system even fairer to the coder: it's escrow and arbitration service guarantees the coder gets paid if he does the job, as specified.
