This will probably cease to be a problem in the future anyway. The only Palm licensee (including Palm) making any headway in the market is Sony, and they've customized the OS so much that it's probably only a matter of time before they write their own. After all, it wouldn't be a Sony product unless it didn't interop with anything except other Sony products, right?
