“‘Grandma and Grandpa will not leave home without their e-mail anymore,’ Mr. Gast [spokesman for KOA] said. The company surveyed its customers last year and found that 26 percent were either traveling with their PC’s or seeking out Internet cafes when on the road. Jef Sutherland, KOA’s vice president for information services, said that recreational vehicle makers routinely install Wi-Fi-enabled PC’s in the vehicles’ living areas.”
